We are looking for a Project Manager to join a Tier 2 main contractor based on the South Coast. You will be taking the lead on projects typically ranging from £5M - £15M, reporting into the Operations Manager and managing your site team throughout construction. The initial project is a £9M education scheme in Winchester, due to start on site this summer.

The company/project: Established Tier 2 contractor with a turnover of £200M nationally and £35M across the regional business. Projects are delivered across education, commercial, residential and public sector sectors throughout Hampshire and the wider South Coast.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing projects from pre-construction through to handover
  • Leading site teams and subcontractors
  • Managing programme, quality and health
  • Chairing client and progress meetings
  • Reporting project progress to senior management
  • Resolving site, design and delivery issues

Ideal Candidate:

  • Project Manager with main contracting experience
  • Or a Senior Site Manager who has successfully delivered projects as the No.1 on site
  • Experience delivering projects valued between £5M - £15M
  • Background working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills

Package: £75,000 - £85,000 basic
