We're working with a highly regarded residential developer to recruit a Site Manager for a brand-new 200-unit traditional build development in a beautiful Surrey location surrounded by woodland and open countryside. This is an exciting opportunity to join a scheme at the perfect stage. Groundworks are currently underway, foundations are due to commence shortly, and you'll have the chance to help shape the development from the early phases through to delivery.

You'll be joining an established site team consisting of a Senior Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager, providing the support structure needed to deliver a high-quality development while allowing you to take ownership of key areas of the build.

What You'll Be Doing

  • This role offers a great balance of hands-on site management and long-term project involvement.
  • Taking ownership of designated phases and areas of a 200-unit traditional build development.
  • Working closely with the Senior Site Manager to drive programme and production targets.
  • Managing subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
  • Leading plot progression from foundations through to completion.
  • Supporting and managing NHBC inspections throughout the construction process.
  • Monitoring build quality and ensuring issues are identified and resolved early.
  • Maintaining strong health & safety standards across the development.
  • Building positive relationships with trades, suppliers, and the wider site team.
  • Contributing to a well-organised, professional, and positive site culture.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience as a Site Manager within residential housebuilding.
  • Strong traditional build experience.
  • Previous experience working with a PLC developer or quality-focused regional housebuilder.
  • Good understanding of NHBC standards and inspection requirements.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Someone who takes pride in delivering quality homes and maintaining high site standards.
