Façade Manager A Tier 1 contractor is hiring for a Façade Manager for a 8 month duration on a new build residential project based in Orpington. Pay ranges from £(Apply online only)cis. About the role of Façade Manager: The role will be managing the façade package, working alongside an on-site Façade Lead. The Façade consists of a SFS, brickwork, fire stopping, scaffold, windows, roofing, balconies etc so previous experience is needed. The project is worth circa £80m. Responsibilities for the Façade Manager: Strong people management skills, experience in leading large teams, including solid technical knowledge of short-term programming, construction methodology. Experience managing all phases of facade packages, including health and safety, quality, and costs Knowledge of facade design, detailing, and structural design standards, as well as experience designing facades for different types of projects Understanding of facade materials, manufacturing methods, installation, and testing Ability to communicate effectively with architects, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders, and to present design concepts clearly Working with other professionals, such as engineers and architects, to achieve project objectives Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites. Making sure all health & safety protocols are in place.
