Façade Manager

A Tier 1 contractor is hiring for a Façade Manager for a 12-month duration on a new build residential, high-rise project based in White City. Pay ranges from £(Apply online only)cis.

About the Role of Façade Manager:

The role will be managing the façade package, working alongside an on-site Project Lead. The Façade consists mostly of brickwork, rain screen, and mast climbing, so this experience is crucial. The project is worth circa £80m.

Responsibilities for the Façade Manager:

  1. Strong people management skills and experience in leading large teams, including solid technical knowledge of short-term programming and construction methodology.
  2. Experience managing all phases of façade packages, including health and safety, quality, and costs.
  3. Knowledge of façade design, detailing, and structural design standards, as well as experience designing façades for different types of projects.
  4. Understanding of façade materials, manufacturing methods, installation, and testing.
  5. Ability to communicate effectively with architects, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders, and to present design concepts clearly.
  6. Working with other professionals, such as engineers and architects, to achieve project objectives.
  7. Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring all health & safety protocols are in place.
  8. Manage risks, ensuring any issues that arise are solved promptly and efficiently.
