Fawkes and Reece have a Temporary Finishing Manager position located in Edinburgh working for a well-established, main contractor in the UK. Our client specialises in key construction projects such as new build hotel and leisure, commercial, industrial, health and education.

For this role it is vital you have been a Finishing Manager with finishing experience. You will report to the Main Site Manager on a daily basis on a student accommodation project. This role is to start ASAP for approximately 8 weeks work.

Previous experience:

  • It is vital that you have been involved with large fit out projects in excess of £10m from a Finishings perspective.
  • It is essential that you come from an internal trades background.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.
  • CSCS essential.

Key responsibilities:

  • Overall supervision of all internal finishings.
  • Manage sub-contractors to prioritise work.
  • Liaising with sub-contractors.
  • Ensure the site team adhere to health and safety demands.
  • You must have main contract experience in contracts in excess of £10m.
  • Previous finishings experience for 2 years plus.
  • You MUST be able to demonstrate a proven track record with previous employers confirming length of service and continuity of employment.
  • Live within commutable distance of Edinburgh.
