What you'll do
- You'll drive health, safety and environmental standards across social housing refurbishment projects. This includes auditing sites, managing incidents and producing insights that help improve safety across the business.
- You'll work closely with operational teams to ensure safety is embedded at every stage of a project, giving you influence over major decisions and control over how standards are applied in the field.
- As part of this, you'll also liaise with key external bodies like the HSE, insurers and the Environment Agency when needed, further broadening your range of experience and your professional network.
What you'll need
- Recognised health and safety qualifications: NEBOSH Diploma Environmental Qualification and knowledge.
- Recognised Temporary Works Certificate accredited to CITB.
- Knowledge of construction and CDM.
- Proven experience managing HSE in construction or refurbishment projects.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards and the ability to help implement and maintain them.
