This tier one main contractor is looking for a MEP Project Manager to join their team to support on technically complex Mechanical and Electrical projects.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Project Managers are a valuable part of the business, the focus of this role will be to provide visible leadership, insight, direction and foresight in the safe and profitable delivery of schemes, while also providing excellent customer satisfaction and successfully developing a team.

As our Project Manager you will:

  • Lead the electrical services engineering elements from pre-construction to project completion. This will include design and procurement.
  • Lead the full MEP works on site in terms of safety, quality, programme and budget. This will involve liaising with internal and external stakeholders to the project.
  • Lead the overall MEP team, providing mentorship and leadership throughout, ensuring correct integration with the wider construction team.

The Project

The project is based in Devizes, Wiltshire and is valued at £100m, working on an existing prison looking to construct a number of rapid cell deployments and fire safety improvements to the prison. They are at RIBA stage 3 for MEP design, so will engage in procurement from January onwards to start on site in August. This project will feature largely off-site prefabricated MEP to speed up delivery on site. MEP package value is £31m.
