We are currently recruiting for an experienced Customer Care Coordinator to join a busy residential new-build development in Darwen. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position on a 12 month residential housing project with an established contractor and supportive team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, managing homeowner enquiries, coordinating remedial works, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the defect and aftercare period.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing customer care activities across the development, acting as the main point of contact for homeowners and coordinating contractors to ensure all issues are resolved efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer enquiries and aftercare requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Act as the primary point of contact for homeowners throughout the defects period.
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to attend and complete remedial works.
- Schedule and monitor customer care appointments.
- Track and manage defects through to successful completion.
- Maintain accurate records and update customer care systems.
- Liaise with site management teams, subcontractors, and homeowners to ensure excellent communication.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure works are completed to the required standard.
- Assist with plot handovers and homeowner demonstrations where required.
- Ensure customer satisfaction levels are maintained and company service standards are achieved.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Customer Care Coordinator, Customer Service, or Aftercare role within residential house building.
- Strong understanding of the new-build customer journey and defects process.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and customer management systems.
- Professional and proactive approach to problem solving.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
