Civils & Groundworks Supervisor - Midlands Location: Midlands - multiple sites Contract: Temp to Perm - permanent opportunity after 12 weeks Sector: Civils & Groundworks - Residential & Commercial Fawkes & Reece are currently recruiting for an experienced Civils & Groundworks Supervisor to join an established contractor delivering groundworks and civil engineering packages across residential and commercial projects throughout the Midlands. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with the successful candidate initially working on a 12-week temporary basis before moving into a permanent position. The Role You will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and delivery of groundworks and civils packages, including: Managing site operatives, groundworkers, plant and subcontractors Overseeing groundworks packages from initial stages through to completion Managing drainage, foundations, roads, sewers, external works and associated civils Ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the required quality Coordinating labour, plant and materials Reading and working from construction drawings Conducting site briefings and toolbox talks Ensuring RAMS are implemented correctly Monitoring quality and completing relevant QA documentation Liaising with Site Managers, Project Managers, engineers and clients Maintaining high health & safety standards across site Requirements Black CSCS Manager Card - essential SMSTS - essential First Aid at Work - preferred Temporary Works Supervisor - advantageous To apply send your CV across or call Harry on (phone number removed)
