Exciting opportunity for an experienced, dynamic Construction / Operations Director to join a Tier 1 Principal Contractor based in Central London. This contractor operates within the public and private sector on projects up to £150 million.
About the Role
The role entails providing leadership within the region and overseeing the implementation of business systems and strategies. Your direct report will be the managing director and you will be the focal point for driving consistency and improving standards of how the principal contractor delivers projects.
You will be responsible for circa £400 million of revenue and up to 40 live projects at any one time. Your day-to-day activities will include:
- Responsible for HSW, Environmental and quality resources within the region
- Driving focus and developing opportunities to enhance delivery and customer offering
- Improving industry best practice and sustainable modern methods of construction
- Assembling plans for improving quality
Requirements for the Role
- Experience of working for a Tier 1 contractor in an established leadership role

- Experience in a leadership position and responsible for all aspects of the construction build process from planning, building services, design management, information management and engineering
