Electrical Project Engineer | HV Power Projects | UK Electrical Project Engineer - HV Power & Substations Our client is looking for Electrical Project Engineers to support the delivery of high-voltage power infrastructure projects across the UK. Working on substations, grid connections, renewable energy and data centre schemes, you'll play a key role in ensuring electrical installations are delivered safely, on programme and ready for energisation. Key Responsibilities: Oversee electrical installation works on HV projects (11kV-132kV) Coordinate subcontractors and site teams to maintain safety and quality standards Review electrical designs, drawings and technical documentation Support outage planning, site access arrangements and safety procedures Carry out inspections, pre-commissioning checks and support energisation activities Manage progress reporting, materials, programme updates and as-built recordsWhat We're Looking For: Experience delivering HV substation or cable projects within the UK Strong understanding of switchgear, cable systems, protection and control equipment Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics Knowledge of DNO/TSO working practices, CDM and industry safety standards HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering Full UK driving licenceDesirable: Authorised Person experience (11kV/33kV) SSSTS or SMSTS Substation entry competencies Experience on transmission or renewable energy projectsWhat's on Offer? ✅ Competitive salary + bonus ✅ Car allowance ✅ Pension contribution ✅ Private healthcare benefits ✅ Training and professional development support ✅ Clear career progression within a growing power engineering business Interested in working on some of the UK's most important power infrastructure projects?
