My client is a leading, Tier 1 construction company. They have an excellent opportunity for a Works Manager to join their existing team on a large scale, circa Β£200m civil engineering project in the Carterton area of Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will support the project manager in the successful delivery of the project with overall responsibility for all onsite activities. The role will involve ensuring that the project is delivered to the required HSEQ standards and the subcontract activities are coordinated in an efficient manner, whilst directing economic deployment of all their direct resources (e.g. labour and plant).
Due to the fast track nature of this project, the company is offering a significant bonus scheme for the team for the successful and timely delivery of the project. The company would also consider individuals who are prepared to lodge and will provide accommodation or subsistence for the right individual.
About you:
- Proven track record of successful project delivery as Works Manager or Senior General Foreman
- Relevant experience in multiple civil engineering activities from a Tier 1 Main Contractor
- Civils experience
- CSCS
- Experience in heavy plant operations
