An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering a portfolio of DFE (Department for Education) projects across the Lake District. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile education schemes from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record managing construction projects within the education, public sector, or commercial sectors, with strong leadership and client-facing skills. You will be responsible for overseeing site teams, programme management, subcontractor coordination, and maintaining high standards of health and safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
  • Experience delivering education or public sector projects preferred
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage programmes, budgets, and stakeholder relationships
  • SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid qualified
