Are you an Assistant Buyer looking to join a well-established regional housebuilder in Lancashire? There is an exciting new opportunity for an Assistant Buyer to work within a dynamic procurement department. You will be responsible for the following duties:
- Procurement of materials & plant for new build housing developments
- Placement and control of orders, ensuring commercial awareness
- Liaising with supply chain regarding product availability, cost control, invoices queries
- To prepare material schedules from contract drawings as required
- Management of 3-4 live developments along with procuring 1-2 site commencement
- Commercial administration

- Good IT skills and use of Excel & other procurement software
