My client is a Leading, Tier 1 Construction Company. They have a fantastic opportunity for a Sub Agent / Site Agent to join their Civil Engineering business working initially on a circa £10m Civils and Rail Project in the Bourton-On-The-Water area. In support of the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the project, and have responsibility to ensure health, safety, environmental & quality compliance as well as programme and budget requirements. You will be closely supported by a dedicated site team and a very experienced Works Manager. Due to the nature of this project, the successful individual will be required to work a mixture of day and night shifts with the latter attracting a sizeable rate uplift. This is a long-term contract opportunity with an estimated duration of 9-12 months. Requirements * Experience of civil engineering projects * Ideally experience of working on rail sector projects * PTS, CSCS and SMSTS required * A degree or equivalent in a construction related discipline * Proven technical and site management abilities in the Built environment * Strong organisational and management skills * Knowledge of the requirements and implementation of CDM regulations * Ability to produce Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, and implement safe systems of work * Detailed knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental issues relevant to the project environment
