We're currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a major blue-chip contractor on an exciting commercial office fit-out project in Hertfordshire. This is a great opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong background in commercial fit-out who is confident managing projects on site and working to high standards of quality, safety and programme.
The Role:
- Managing the day-to-day operations on site
- Coordinating subcontractors and site teams
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards
- Managing site health & safety and maintaining excellent site standards
- Liaising with the project management team, client and subcontractors
- Monitoring progress and assisting with programme delivery
- Ensuring all works are completed in line with drawings, specifications and project requirements
About You:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within commercial fit-out
- Proven experience seeing projects from start to finish
- Strong knowledge of commercial office fit-out projects
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Able to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively
- Strong understanding of health & safety requirements
- CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid qualifications are desirable/required
- Professional, proactive and confident in managing a busy site environment
