Not every development offers the same opportunity. This is your chance to join a busy, established housebuilder on a mid-sized residential scheme in Bootle, delivering a mix of open-market homes and affordable housing through timber-frame construction. We're looking for a proactive Assistant Site Manager who knows what it takes to keep a development moving, maintain high standards and bring people together to deliver quality homes. If you're confident on site, switched on to the detail and ready to make a genuine contribution, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for. The role Working alongside the site management team, you'll play a key part in the day-to-day delivery of the development, helping to coordinate trades, monitor progress and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. From managing site activity and maintaining health and safety compliance to keeping programmes on track and resolving issues before they become problems, you'll be an integral part of the team helping turn plans into completed homes. With a combination of open-market and housing association properties, alongside timber-frame construction, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied workload and takes pride in getting things right first time. What we're looking for Previous experience working as an Assistant Site Manager, or in a similar residential housebuilding role, is essential. The confidence to manage subcontractors, monitor workmanship and maintain progress against programme. A proactive, organised approach, with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a site team. Someone who takes ownership, spots the details others might miss and understands that quality is built into every stage of the process. Why consider this opportunity? This is more than a short-term position to fill a gap. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join an ongoing development, establish themselves within the team and build towards a long-term opportunity for the right person.
