We are currently looking for an experienced Civils & Groundworks Site Manager to join a busy project in the Midlands. The successful Site Manager will have a strong background in groundworks, civils and infrastructure, with experience managing site teams, subcontractors and day-to-day site operations.
Duties:
- Managing day-to-day site operations
- Supervising groundworks and civils activities
- Managing labour, plant and subcontractors
- Ensuring works are delivered safely and to programme
- Reading and delivering RAMS
- Liaising with Project/Contracts Managers, engineers and clients
- Maintaining site records, diaries and progress reports
- Ensuring quality and H&S standards are maintained
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Civils/Groundworks Site Manager
- SMSTS - Essential
- CSCS - Essential
- First Aid
- Strong H&S knowledge
- Experience with drainage, earthworks, foundations and heavy civils
- Full UK driving licence
