We are looking for an Operations Manager that hasn't just been managing projects but overseeing a region. A well established and award winning Principal Contractor is looking to recruit an Operations Manager to join them on a permanent basis. You will be covering sites across the Yorkshire and East Midlands region. The company are leaders within their field and work within the Social Housing sector, providing retrofit and decarbonisation services to tenanted Social Housing properties. The company has an established client base of Local Authorities and Housing Associations and has a healthy pipeline of future works. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable, award winning contractor whose staff share the same ethos of working together to achieve great results, who are growing whilst also keeping their family feel and down to earth nature. Reporting to the Directors of the business, you will be responsible for dealing with contracts at a high level and assisting in the growth and continued expansion of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the business and ensure best practice is followed.
  • Manage renewable energy contracts from pre-construction/survey, through to delivery and aftercare stages.
  • Manage a team which consists of several Contracts Managers and their subsequent reports.
  • Deliver successful presentations to Clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Promote and maintain the highest standards of health and safety.
  • Prepare financial reporting.

Qualifications

  • Strong construction background with knowledge of the delivery of retrofit contracts within Social Housing, under the SHDF fund.
  • Knowledge of PAS:2035.
  • Strong leadership, commercial and people management skills.
  • Personable and approachable.
