My client is a leading civil engineering contractor. Due to planned and continuous growth, they are looking to take on a Contract Administrator on a permanent basis. Your role will be to support the administration of contracts on a major infrastructure project located in Hampshire. The role will involve a wide range of contract-related activities, including programme management, change control, risk management, dispute avoidance, and procurement.

You will be responsible for assisting with:

  • Legal agreements relating to licences, consents, sureties, and bonds
  • Insurance and warranty documentation
  • Reviewing proposed agreements and documents to ensure they accurately reflect agreed terms
  • Managing the change process (Compensation Events) and ensuring key deadlines are achieved
  • Preparing draft correspondence
  • Handling contractual matters with supply chain partners when required
  • Liaising with clients' and statutory providers' legal representatives, and consulting internal legal counsel where necessary
  • Reviewing contract documentation and preparing advisory notes outlining contractual requirements, together with suggested responses and compliance actions

Responsible for:

  • Organising and attending meetings and negotiations, taking notes, and issuing minutes and action points
  • Administering the contract communications system
  • Producing reports and supporting documentation as requested
