Actively recruiting for a Site Engineer to join a tier 1 principal contractor who are expanding their healthcare division. This is a multi-site opportunity for the Site Engineer to cover several sites over the North London & Essex Region. This is a key role for an organised, technically strong engineer with proven experience in setting out and temporary works within a live, sensitive environment.

As a multi-Site Engineer, you will provide technical expertise, support construction and maintenance teams, and ensure all works are delivered to exacting standards within active healthcare facilities. You will be responsible for accurate setting out, coordination and compliance of temporary works, whilst ensuring engineering quality across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities of the Site Engineer:
  • Undertake precise setting out for a range of construction and maintenance activities
  • Manage, coordinate, and sign off temporary works in line with the principal contractors and industry standards
  • Provide engineering support across several live healthcare sites
  • Ensure all works meet compliance, safety regulations and healthcare protocols
  • Conduct quality checks
  • Liaise with Project Managers, supervisors, subcontractors and healthcare facility teams
  • Assist in planning, sequencing and technical problem-solving
  • Monitor site progress, resolve technical issues and maintain documentation
  • Support continuous improvement and efficient delivery across all sites
About the Site Engineer:
  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer within Building Construction
  • Strong capability in setting out
  • Knowledge and understanding of temporary works processes and regulations
  • Experience working in live or sensitive environments (healthcare preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and prioritise workload
  • Full UK Driving License and flexibility to travel across North London & Essex
