- Pay rate: £22-23 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of foul water, surface water, and storm drainage systems.
- Laying pipes, manholes, gullies, and associated drainage infrastructure.
- Excavation and preparation of trenches to specification.
- Reading and interpreting site drawings and drainage plans.
- Backfilling, compacting, and reinstating excavated areas.
- Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Assisting plant operators and other site personnel as required.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with site specifications and health and safety regulations.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Drainage Groundworker.
- Ability to lay drainage to line and level.
- Good understanding of drainage systems and construction methods.
- Ability to work effectively both within a team and independently.
- Positive attitude and willingness to get on with tasks as instructed.
- CSCS Card
- CPCS/NPORS plant tickets
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
Working Hours
- Typically 10-12 hours per day.
- Weekend work available when required.
- Overtime and weekend rates may apply.
