We are looking for a motivated and organised Trainee Project Manager to join us on a freelance basis and gain hands‑on experience supporting the delivery of projects from initial planning through to completion.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in project management, develop practical experience, and work alongside experienced professionals across a range of projects.
You don't need years of project management experience. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, strong organisational skills, and a willingness to learn.
The Role
As a Freelance Trainee Project Manager, you will support the planning, coordination and delivery of projects, working closely with clients, team members and other stakeholders.
Your responsibilities may include:
Assisting with project planning, schedules and timelines.
Coordinating tasks and following up on project actions.
Communicating with clients, contractors and internal team members.
Maintaining project documentation and progress reports.
Monitoring deadlines, deliverables and project milestones.
Helping identify and escalation potential issues or delays.
Attending project meetings and taking clear action notes.
Supporting the Project Manager with day-to-day project administration.
Helping ensure projects are delivered on time and to the required standard.
Gradually taking ownership of smaller projects and workstreams as your experience develops.
