A leading Tier 1 contractor based in Hampshire are seeking an experienced construction Document Controller to join their business. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the country's most prominent construction business with a fantastic reputation as a leading reputable contractor. This Document Controller role will play a key part amongst both the site and design team.
About the role of Document Controller
This Tier 1 contractor traditionally specialises in large scale projects, including education, healthcare & industrial new builds, refurbishments & extensions valuing up to £300M for private and framework clients. The role of Document Controller is a permanent requirement with further works in the area.
Responsibilities for Document Controller
- Responsible for overseeing all project documentation and ensuring it is filed correctly in line with company protocol
- Assist both client and stakeholders with relevant systems training when required
- Continuous maintenance and management of systems throughout the duration of the project
- Management and maintain all design documentation in line with company policy & procedures.
- Ensure all design documentation meets approved guidelines.
- Liaise and support site team with roll out of the latest issue of design documentation.
Requirements for Document Controller
- Previous experience using A-site is fundamental
- Relevant experience working on large scale projects within the construction industry
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Understanding and knowledge of ISO 19650
