We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join a leading Tier 1 main contractor, managing tenders for major construction projects across a diverse portfolio.
You will lead the bid process from initial opportunity through to final submission, working closely with pre-construction, estimating, commercial and operational teams to deliver high-quality, competitive tenders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full tender process, including PQQs, SQs and ITTs.
- Develop bid strategies and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
- Produce compelling, client-focused tender submissions.
- Work closely with estimating and pre-construction teams.
- Manage tender programmes, deadlines and submission requirements.
- Lead bid reviews, client presentations and post-tender interviews.
Requirements
- Proven Bid Manager experience with a Tier 1 main contractor or major construction business.
- Strong understanding of construction tendering and procurement.
- Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple bids and tight deadlines.
