Fawkes & Reece are currently recruiting for an experienced Temporary Roofing Site Supervisor on behalf of a leading roofing contractor. This role will be based on a large warehouse project in the Filton area and is available for an immediate start. Our client is a specialist roof refurbishment contractor operating nationwide, delivering roofing repair and renewal projects across the commercial, industrial, retail, and education sectors.
Hours of work are 8 am - 4.30 pm Monday to Friday.
Requirements:
- IPAF certification (preferred but not essential)
- Previous experience supervising roofing, cladding, or construction projects
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures and site compliance
- Ability to effectively coordinate trades, subcontractors, and site activities
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day site operations and workforce activities
- Review project plans, specifications, and work schedules
- Coordinate roofing teams, subcontractors, and material deliveries
- Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with site regulations
- Carry out quality inspections and monitor workmanship standards
- Supervise roof deck preparation and installation activities
- Maintain accurate site records and provide progress updates to management
Scope of Works:
- Flashing systems and fittings
- Sash windows
- Metal roofing panels and associated roofing systems
- Insulation and vapour barrier installations
- Roof drainage systems, including gutters, outlets, and down pipes
- Skylights, roof hatches, and roof penetrations
Competitive day rate of £210-£220 per day. 4-week contract with potential for extension. Opportunity for long-term or permanent employment with the right candidate.
