We are currently looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a developer on a busy traditional Build in Sittingbourne. This is a freelance position.
The Assistant Site Manager will be supporting the Site Manager and Project Manager on site and taking plots from 1st fix to completion.
Responsibilities for Assistant Site Manager- Overseeing plots from 1st fix through to completion
- Supporting the Site Manager with daily operations on site
- Coordinating trades and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered on time and to standard
- Ensuring H&S compliance across the site
- Maintaining quality control and ensuring snagging is dealt with efficiently
- Previous experience working as an Assistant Site Manager with a developer
- Strong knowledge of the build process from 1st fix to handover
- Proven ability to manage multiple trades on a fast paced site
- Valid CSCS, SMSTS and 1st Aid
- Long term freelance contract with a day rate of £240 - £250
- Opportunity to work with a respected PLC
- Long term project with strong pipeline of work
