Fawkes & Reece are working with a leading Regeneration contractor in Grimsby to hire a freelance Site Manager for 2 weeks holiday cover to assist on a kitchen and bathroom scheme on behalf of the council in tenanted and void properties.

The successful Manager will preferably come from a background within the social housing sector and worked on similar schemes previously.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing trades such as Joiners, Bricklayers, Plumbers, Plasterers to carry out repairs/maintenance in tenanted and void properties.
  • Overseeing project schedules and ensuring work is completed within set deadlines.
  • Reporting progress to senior management.
  • Ensuring work is completed to the agreed high standards.
  • Coordinating teams of workers and subcontractors
  • Maintaining quality control checks
  • Signing off and handing completed work over to the client
  • Ensuring that all Health & Safety procedures are being adhered too

Requirements & Experience

  • SMSTS
  • First Aid At Work
  • CSCS Card
  • DBS Check or be willing to apply for a DBS online
  • Previous experience in the Social Housing Sector as a Manager/Supervisor
  • Own transport
  • Monday – Friday working week, 40 – 45 Hours per Week
  • Β£28 Per Hour CIS or UMB payment
