Fawkes & Reece are working with a leading Regeneration contractor in Grimsby to hire a freelance Site Manager for 2 weeks holiday cover to assist on a kitchen and bathroom scheme on behalf of the council in tenanted and void properties.
The successful Manager will preferably come from a background within the social housing sector and worked on similar schemes previously.
Responsibilities:
- Managing trades such as Joiners, Bricklayers, Plumbers, Plasterers to carry out repairs/maintenance in tenanted and void properties.
- Overseeing project schedules and ensuring work is completed within set deadlines.
- Reporting progress to senior management.
- Ensuring work is completed to the agreed high standards.
- Coordinating teams of workers and subcontractors
- Maintaining quality control checks
- Signing off and handing completed work over to the client
- Ensuring that all Health & Safety procedures are being adhered too
Requirements & Experience
- SMSTS
- First Aid At Work
- CSCS Card
- DBS Check or be willing to apply for a DBS online
- Previous experience in the Social Housing Sector as a Manager/Supervisor
- Own transport
- Monday – Friday working week, 40 – 45 Hours per Week
- Β£28 Per Hour CIS or UMB payment
