We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a new residential housebuilding development in Telford, working on behalf of an established PLC housebuilder. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong residential background who has previously worked with a PLC housebuilder and understands the standards and processes involved in delivering high-quality new homes.
Experience working on both Housing Association and Open Market developments would be highly desirable, along with a good understanding of both timber frame and traditional build methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades and site labour.
- Ensure construction works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme.
- Maintain high standards of build quality throughout the development.
- Monitor progress and ensure build targets and deadlines are achieved.
- Coordinate site deliveries, materials and logistics.
- Ensure all health & safety procedures and site requirements are adhered to.
- Work closely with the Contracts Manager and wider project team.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure homes are delivered to the required specification.
