Project Quality Advisor is required to work on a large (£200m) industrial build scheme in Sheffield. Working with an established operational team, you’ll guide site teams, monitor compliance with contract specifications, carry out quality audits, and manage corrective actions for any non-conformance to guarantee the project meets industry standards.

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular on-site inspections and internal audits to ensure all works align with contract drawings, specifications, and appropriate codes.
  • Assist project teams in drafting, reviewing, and implementing Project Specific Quality Plans and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Identify process weak points and defects, log non-conformances, and drive robust corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and supply chain partners regarding quality standards and expectations.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience in a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) or site-based role within construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure.
  • Knowledge: Sound working knowledge of quality management systems, specifically ISO 9001 standards.
  • Qualifications: Ideally educated to HNC level, with CSCS Card and any other relevant industry qualifications.
