Are you an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor thinking about a fresh new start working for a leading Tier 1? I am currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join my clients growing team based in Sheffield with Hybrid working available.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within a specialist team, supporting them in various projects and areas. You will be involved with projects including new build, refurbishments and fit‑outs across an array of sectors. Project values typically range from £10m - £50m.
Duties of an Assistant Quantity Surveyor:
- Regular financial reporting;
- Processing and administration of applications for payment upstream and downstream;
- Managing relationships with the client and the appointed professional team;
- Collaborative working with all external and internal stakeholders;
- Mentoring/managing an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to contribute to the growth of the hub.
Working on a portfolio of projects predominately involving the refurbishment of buildings across the Blue Light, Health, Education, Retail and commercial sectors, with a focus on works that are safety critical and involve significant fire and general safety risk.
Requirements for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor:
- Demonstrate general construction knowledge;
- Have experience of delivering projects under NEC and JCT Forms of Contract;
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying.
