Senior Site Manager (No.2) opportunity on an office refurbishment which consists of structural alterations. Project worth circa £30m.
When you come into the project you will need to be able to manage the internal demolition and restructure, so experience in this field is essential. Once remodelled, we will need you to deliver a 4-floor office fit-out (Cat A).
As the number 2 to a Senior Project Manager, you will be out on site managing processes, upholding health and safety, and being forward-thinking in regard to preventing problems.
Other responsibilities:
Attending and contributing in contractor pre-start meetings.
Attending and contributing in design team meetings.
Chairing weekly sub-contractor progress meetings, taking and issuing meeting minutes.
Attending safe starts.
Approving RAMS.
Attending DABS and contributing to the meeting, discussing coordination with other trades. If necessary, taking the meeting and issuing the DABS report to all other team members.
Identifying potential problems and offering buildability solutions.
Being tech-savvy.
Engaging with the supply chain and other team members.
We are paying between £320-350 per day for the right candidate.
