About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor
Fawkes and Reece are assisting a well established, privately owned main contractor with over 65 years of industry experience, delivering high-quality fit out, refurbishment, and cut&carve projects across London. With a turnover of £150 m – £160m and a reputation for excellence, the clients they have worked for include names like Landsec, Nestle, Debenhams and Merlin Entertainment. The contractor spans multiple projects with projects typically ranging from £5m – £35m in value.
Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor:
Commercial management fit – out and refurbishment projects across London
Cost planning, Procurement, contract administration, and value engineering
Managing subcontractors and supplier relationships
Supporting junior team members and collaborating closely with project leads
working within a knowledgeable, close knit team where you\’ll be supported to thrive
Requirements for Quantity Surveyor:
Experience on Cat A/B, refurbishment or cut and carve projects
Strong understanding of two-stage tender processes
Commercial awareness, attention to detail, and managing your own packages
Ambition to progress – many of the team have risen through the ranks
