About the role of Project Quantity Surveyor:
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team during the PCSA stage of a new build iconic stadium project.
Responsibilities for Project Quantity Surveyor:
- Manage the project from PCSA/2 Stage tender process through to site delivery, completion, and final accounts.
- Oversee multiple subcontractor packages, each up to £30 million.
- Review contracts at pre-order stage.
- Handle general commercial cost management and cost comparisons during tendering.
Requirements for Project Quantity Surveyor:
- Minimum of 5 years\’ experience with a main contractor.
- Experience with major projects exceeding £30 million, in sectors such as commercial, leisure, or government.
- Degree qualification or HNC/ONC in construction or related field, with experience from pre-construction to delivery phases.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
The project is currently in the PCSA stage. You will join an existing team at this reputable contractor to work on the new stadium, which includes conference rooms, hospitals, and communal areas, over the next 6 months during the pre-construction phase.
Ideally, candidates will have PCSA experience and a background in commercial schemes involving large RC frame, steel frame, and groundworks packages.
Based in Hampshire, you will work with the team and report to the Commercial Director during this critical stage. The company is well-regarded in the industry, known for its friendly, dynamic, and stable team environment.
