Are you a project or Project Quantity Surveyor who would be interested in joining a private regional contractor to work on a £50m build to rent apartment development in Salford, Greater Manchester? The site has just commenced and is due for completion end of 2027. This is a growing building contractor and developer who are looking to appoint dynamic commercial staff who are looking to progress their career over the next few years on to Commercial Management.
Project based, you will report into a Commercial Director and be responsible for the management of several subcontract packages working within a supportive experienced commercial team. With secured pipeline projects for the next 10 years, the company can offer excellent career progression opportunities to develop within a leading construction business working on some of Manchester's largest & most prestigious developments.
Experience / Qualifications Required:
- BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Background within a main contractor or developer environment
- Confident, commercially astute with good communication skills with the ability to negotiate and manage subcontractors effectively.
- Dynamic and forward thinking with excellent interpersonal skills.
Salary & Package on offer:
- Negotiable Base Salary (dependent on level of experience)
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
