Our client is a huge tier 1 main Contractor with a turnover of over £1 billion + turnover. They work across Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Nuclear & Defence, education and more projects. They have a London Construction Segment which you would be a part of! This is an amazing opportunity to work within their growing team - predominately across the education sector!
Responsibilities for Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Reviewing tender information received and developing the bid strategy.
- * Take full ownership of bid submissions including co-ordinating, writing and reviewing the work of others and identification of key differentiators
- * Manage and liaise with bid managers and writers
- * Establish the tender delivery programme, input into tender resource schedule/budget, internal governance and monitoring progress

Requirements for Pre Con Manager
- Ability to lead the preconstruction team ensuring design, commercial, planning and construction disciplines are coordinated throughout the preconstruction process to deliver profitability throughout
- * Good understanding of how to positively influence health and safety during tenders
- * Excellent communication skills with our clients and consultants and the ability to align our offer and add value to their projects
- * Ability to gain the confidence of all parties involved in the bid and project delivery team
- * Confidence to challenge the proposed construction Methodology / sequence, commercial, programme and design aspects to ensure a best value offer
- * Strong project / construction management skills
