Painter/Decorator required to work on various social housing refurbishment schemes in Huddersfield on a temporary to permanent basis.
The Client
Our client is an award-winning main contractor who operates nationwide and specialises within the social housing sector.
The Role
- Working in tenanted and void properties on behalf of councils and housing associations.
- Glossing and emulsioning, walls and ceilings.
- Stripping wallpaper.
- Preparing walls prior to painting.
- Cleaning up after a day's work is complete so the property is left neat and tidy.
- Excellent customer service when dealing with tenants.
- Reporting to the Site Manager daily.
The working hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm with a 30-minute break.
Temporary to permanent role for the right candidate.
Requirements
- CSCS Card.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Painting and Decorating - Desirable.
- Previous experience as a Painter/Decorator.
- Social Housing Experience.
- Own Tools.
- Own Transport.
- Must be able to provide 2 x checkable references if you haven't worked with Fawkes & Reece before.
