Overview

We are looking for an Operations Manager that has experience managing projects and overseeing a region. The award‑winning Principle Contractor is looking to recruit an Operations Manager to join on a permanent basis. The role covers sites across Yorkshire and the East Midlands. The company is a leader in the Social Housing sector, providing retrofit and decarbonisation services to tenanted properties, with an established client base of Local Authorities and Housing Associations and a healthy pipeline of future work. Reporting to the Directors, you will be responsible for dealing with contracts at a high level, and assisting in the growth and continued expansion of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the business and best practice.
  • Manage renewable energy contracts from pre‑construction/survey, through to delivery and after‑care stages.
  • Manage a team consisting of several Contracts Managers and their reports.
  • Deliver successful presentations to clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Promote and maintain the highest standards of health and safety.

Qualifications

  • Strong construction background and knowledge of the delivery of retrofit contracts within Social Housing under the SHDF fund.
  • Knowledge of PAS 2035.
  • Personable, approachable, with strong leadership, commercial, and people management skills.
