Are you a Managing Quantity Surveyor looking for a new challenge & the opportunity to join a tier 1 build contractor? The North West regional turnover is c.£260m and is part of a larger UK Group. They specialise across high rise residential, student accommodation, commercial, industrial, leisure and stadia, retail and education projects. Projects range from £20m - £100m + in value.
Project & office based, you will report into a Regional Commercial Manager and be responsible for overseeing new Design & Build projects in excess of £40m and the management of a team of QS's from Senior to Assistant level. With secured pipeline projects, the company is multi-disciplinary and can offer excellent career progression opportunities to develop within a leading construction business working on some of the North West's most prestigious developments.
Experience / Qualifications Required:
- Proven track record as a Managing Quantity Surveyor within the build sector on similar value projects
- Academically Qualified with a BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Background within a main contractor or developer environment
- Confident, commercially astute with good communication skills able to negotiate and manage subcontractors effectively
