Are you about to graduate in Quantity Surveying and looking for your first Graduate Quantity Surveying role with a leading tier 1 building contractor and developer in Manchester? This is a great opportunity for students who are graduating this summer. Full training and support will be provided.

You will be joining an established leading build contractor and developer who have a turnover of over £500m annually and work on several complex major construction projects that are valued at £100m. They work across a variety of sectors including the commercial, education & residential sectors. This role is specifically working on a high end mixed use flagship high rise residential & commercial developments in Manchester.

Support the commercial team with the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of valuations
  • Attend site meetings
  • Take responsibility for measuring progress on site
  • Produce for small value projects and report to SQS/MQS
  • Cash management
  • Timely application/invoices in line with client schedule
  • Understand & assist in the implementation of the commercial strategy
  • At all times act in a suitable & professional manner

Required Experience for the Graduate Quantity Surveyor:

  • Completed or about to complete a BSc Quantity Surveying
  • Ability to effectively utilise a range of Microsoft Office tools
  • Able to manipulate, manage/interrogate data
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
