We are hiring for a Freelance Assistant Site Manager for a civils/groundworks project in Manchester City Centre, starting ASAP.
What you will do as an Assistant Freelance Site Manager:
- Assist in daily management and coordination of civils and groundworks operations
- Supervise contractors and subcontractors on-site daily
- Ensure projects are on-time and to client specification
- Assist with setting out checks, levels, and quality assurance inspections
- Report directly to the Site Manager/ Project Manager
- Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with health & safety standards
- Maintain accurate site records, including diaries and permits
- Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and client representatives
Required Qualifications/Experience for the Assistant Freelance Site Manager:
- Experience working within civils
- CSCS
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- First Aid at Work
- Temp Works Awareness (preferred)
- Experience as an Assistant Site Manager in Civils
Day rate accommodation paid by contractor. Weekly pay on a Friday.
