We have an exciting opportunity to work with an established international General Contractor on Data centre and infrastructure projects with high profile clients, travelling across Europe in countries such as the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Denmark, Austria, and Finland. This role offers great client exposure, fast track progression opportunities, and the ability to run and manage your own projects with the potential to oversee multiple projects.
About the role:
You will assist in managing various contractors, ensuring project operations run smoothly while maintaining communication with clients. A high level of detailed reporting is required, including creating cost plus plans for clients, substantiating financial plans, adhering to health and safety standards, and managing your own cost reports and applications while working on FSA contracts. You will be expected to travel across Europe to multiple sites within your first two months of employment, after which you can operate on a cycle of one week in the UK and one week in Europe. You must be prepared to spend sustained periods overseas when required, up to one month or more at a time.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with creating 'Cost plus' reporting, applications, and financial reporting
- Subcontractor management and package delivery
- Upstream communication effectiveness and client-facing duties
- Ability to plan for and implement change on projects when required
Requirements:
- Ability to travel within Europe
- Ability to stay abroad for sustained periods of time
- Client liaison and meeting experience
- Ownership and accountability of all work under your leadership
- Extreme attention to detail and skilled at producing any and all reporting
- Previous Data centre or Groundworks experience (not a firm requirement)
