An established and growing specialist contractor is seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join its commercial team based in Kings Hill, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong writing, organisational, and project coordination skills to play a key role in securing new business opportunities across the construction and infrastructure sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality, compelling bid submissions, managing tender documentation, and supporting the wider business development process from pre-qualification through to final submission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Writing, editing, and coordinating high-quality PQQs, ITTs, and tender submissions
  • Managing multiple bid deadlines and ensuring timely submissions
  • Collaborating with operational and commercial teams to gather technical information
  • Reviewing tender requirements and ensuring full compliance
  • Developing and maintaining bid library content and case studies
  • Supporting presentation preparation and client-facing documentation
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Bid Writer or Bid Coordinator role
  • Strong written English and attention to detail
  • Experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure, or related sectors preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
