Rare opportunity to join a leading construction and fit-out contractor, delivering exceptional projects across the commercial, residential and retail sectors. They are looking to expand their team and are therefore seeking a proactive Health & Safety manager to join them.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and maintain health & safety management systems across projects.
  • Conduct site audits, inspections and risk assessments ensuring corrective actions are taken where necessary.
  • Provide training, advice, and support to project teams and subcontractors.
  • Keep up to date with current H&S legislation and best practice, ensuring compliance across all operations.
  • Lead incident investigations, preparing reports and recommending improvements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in health, safety and well being across the business.

Qualifications

  • NEBOSH Diploma and membership of IOSH
  • Proven experience in Health & Safety management role withing the construction industry – 4-6 years desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of UK H&S regulations, CDM regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
  • Proactive, solutions focused, and passionate about creating safe working environments.
