We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to take overall responsibility for the delivery of a Thames Water project in Haslemere. You will manage site operations from planning through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Site & Project Management
- Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site and project delivery
- Plan, coordinate and manage site activities in line with the contract programme
- Manage Site Supervisors, engineers, subcontractors and supply chain partners
- Ensure resources, plant and materials are planned and available
- Health, Safety, Quality & Environment
- Lead by example in promoting a strong safety culture
- Ensure full compliance with CDM regulations, environmental controls and Thames Water standards
- Review, approve and manage RAMS, permits and temporary works
- Ensure quality standards are achieved and maintained throughout the project
- Monitor progress against programme and cost targets
- Identify risks and implement mitigation measures
- Support commercial teams with valuations, change control and cost reporting
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact with Thames Water and other key stakeholders
- Chair site meetings and provide clear progress reporting
- Manage interfaces with local authorities, utilities and the public where required
- Technical & Reporting
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and contract requirements
- Maintain accurate site records, reports and documentation
- Support audits, inspections and handover documentation
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Agent (or Senior Site Supervisor ready to step up) within civil engineering or water infrastructure
- Strong understanding of health, safety, environmental and quality management
- Experience delivering works on live utility or water industry sites
- Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage programmes, resources and site teams effectively
- Full UK driving licence

- Temporary Works Coordinator
- Previous experience working on Thames Water projects
Salary & Benefits
- £50,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience
