Fawkes & Reece are working with a leading Regeneration contractor who are running an E.W.I, roofing and externals scheme in Harrow. Our client is looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the running of the scheme on a temporary to permanent contract. The successful Manager will preferably come from a background within the social housing sector and be based within the Harrow area.

Responsibilities

  • Managing trades and subcontractors such as Joiners, Bricklayers, Plumbers, Plasterers, Labourers on a daily basis.
  • Overseeing project schedules and ensuring work is completed within set deadlines.
  • Reporting to senior management.
  • Ensuring work is completed to the agreed high standards.
  • Coordinating teams of workers and subcontractors.
  • Maintaining quality control checks.
  • Signing off and handing completed work over to the client.
  • Ensuring that all Health & Safety procedures are being adhered to.

Requirements & Experience

  • SMSTS
  • First Aid At Work
  • CSCS Card
  • Previous experience in the Social Housing Sector as a Manager/Supervisor
  • Own transport
  • Monday - Friday working week, 40-45 Hours per Week
  • Temporary to permanent position after 12 - 16 weeks
  • Permanent annual salary is to be confirmed
