My client is a Leading Civil Engineering and Marine Construction Company. They are presently looking to recruit, on a permanent basis, a Site Manager to work on projects in and around London and the southeastern region. The company specialise in the following sectors:
- Highways & Structures
- Ports, Rivers & Marine
- Piling
- Dredging
- Earthworks
- And much more
The successful candidate will have experience of delivering civil engineering projects. This is a hybrid position offering a good deal of flexibility between projects, offices and home working.
Site Manager duties include assisting the Project Manager with the successful and timely delivery of projects:
- Advising the engineering team with solutions to technical challenges
- Assist in production and integration of 3-week programmes
- Manage designs from the in-house and external designers
- Support the project team with construction methodology and sequencing
- Collaborate with the project team on resource, plant and material requirements
- Training and mentoring the junior members of the engineering team
- Demonstrate value engineering throughout the construction process
- Managing RFI's and Technical Queries
