Fawkes & Reece (West) are working with one of our Tier 1 construction clients to recruit an experienced Temporary Construction Site Supervisor for an exciting project in Central Glasgow.
This is a 3-week contract starting Monday 27th July, working on a large-scale RC Frame student accommodation development comprising 591 student rooms.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervising day-to-day site operations and ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.
- Managing subcontractors, trades, and direct labour on site.
- Monitoring progress against the construction programme and reporting to site management.
- Ensuring all work is completed to the required quality standards.
- Conducting daily site inspections and maintaining high health and safety standards.
- Delivering site inductions and toolbox talks where required.
- Coordinating deliveries and site logistics.
- Identifying and resolving on-site issues to minimise delays.
- Maintaining accurate site records, including daily diaries and progress reports.
- Liaising with the Project Manager, Site Manager, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Construction Site Supervisor on large-scale construction projects.
- Experience working on RC Frame projects is highly desirable.
- Valid SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- First Aid at Work qualification (preferred).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment and maintain high safety standards.
