We are working for a national Main Contractor, a company with a great reputation and who provide excellent benefits for their employees.
They have a vacancy for a Gas Manager to join them within their Social Housing properties. This is working on a long term, responsive contract in Barnsley within tenanted properties.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of schedulers and gas engineers, ensuring compliance, quality, and performance across all aspects of the contract.
Duties will include:
- Oversee the daily running of the gas contract, supported by an established team of schedulers and engineers.
- Ensure full compliance with the contract and all relevant gas safety regulations.
- Manage quality control across internal teams and subcontractors delivering gas works.
- Provide technical support for ongoing gas-related tasks and projects.
- Monitor and drive team productivity to meet client KPIs for gas servicing and repairs
The successful candidate will hold:
- Proven experience in managing a gas contract, along with a thorough understanding of gas legislation
- SMSTS is desirable but not essential
- Experience working within the Social Housing sector would be ideal but again not essential.
