We’re Hiring: Freelance Fitout Site Manager
Location: Nationwide (H/\\bO in Castleford)

Dayrate: £275 – £290 a day
Duration: Ongoing projects (short term, ongoing)

Fawkes & Reece are hiring for multiple Freelance Fitout Site Managers for our client based in Castleford. The manager\\u2019s will be overseeing leading supermarket fitout projects across the Northwest/Yorkshire & nationwide. Projects typically run 4 to 5 weeks in length before moving on to another project. Accommodation and fuel expenses are PAID.

Job responsibilities of the Freelance Fitout Site Manager:

• Manage supermarket fitout projects – working with leading UK supermarkets
• Ensure projects are on‑time and to client specification.
• Report directly to the Project Manager and liaise with head office.
• Manage contractors and subcontractors on‑site daily.
• Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
• Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and client representatives.
• Flexible with which projects you take.

Required Qualifications/Experience for the Freelance Site Manager:

• Experience working within supermarket fitout.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a Site Managers position
• UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
• Must be willing to travel
• Day rate
• Accommodation paid
• Flexible with which projects you take, days or nights etc.
• Weekly pay on a Friday
